I first want to state that I do not have any ties to any political interest groups, except one and that is to the people
of the 113th district. I am a straightforward, honest, middle class citizen who wants to represent the tax payer
without bias. I believe in a balanced state budget. I believe in consolidating state services to reduce overhead
costs and wasteful spending. I believe in House Bill 1275, which has great potential by looking at a state sales
tax expansion to eliminate the school property tax. I am for transparency and would work to replace legislator's
"walking around money" with a competitive and open grant program.
Being an Eagle Scout, I will bring character, values and integrity to the office. I have been in public service for
the last 11 years through my employment. Not once have I forgotten or left behind the people I represent. I will
fight for what is right.
Topic of the Week     -    8/8/2010
We hope everyone is having a wonderful summer, as the weather has definitely been on
our side.  The campaign has taken a little summer break and like all good things, it must
come to an end.

The campaign team is currently walking neighborhoods in South Abington and Clarks
Green, discussing issues like the smoke and mirror budget that was passed on July 6th.

Over the next couple weeks we will be discussing the limitless spending going on in
Harrisburg,  property taxes  and how we, as a Commonwealth, can create a business
friendly enviroment to create jobs and economic growth.

This week, Mike will be at the  Tripp Park Community Family Picnic on August 14th
